New Partnership formed to aid transitioning Navy SEALs into civilian roles
Morgan Benjamin Search Group has partnered with Beyond the Brotherhood, a 501(c)(3) organization, to connect highly trained veterans with elite sectors
HOUSTON, Texas – Jimmy May, Founder & CEO of Beyond the Brotherhood and Ben Bonnell, Founder & CEO of Morgan Benjamin Search Group (MBSG) have announced a partnership, aiming to work together identifying civilian companies and organizations with opportunities for a select group of Navy SEALs ready to transition from their highly specialized roles in the United States Military.
Beyond the Brotherhood was started by retired Navy SEAL Commander Jimmy May. He recognized a gap many of his comrades faced when the time came to transition off of the SEAL teams and begin looking for civilian opportunities that are a good match for their leadership, abilities and experience. In order to become a Beyond the Brotherhood Fellow, interested SEALs must meet specific criteria, enter an application process, and provide references with consistent and positive feedback on their character and leadership. They must also have completed at least one deployment with a SEAL team.
“Although Navy SEALs have a vast array of marketable skills and education, over 200 operators transition out of the SEAL Teams into the private sector every year with very little support,” according to Commander May and Beyond the Brotherhood.
The goal of this partnership is to see each and every Beyond the Brotherhood Fellow placed in a position that can serve as their next mission, benefitting both these elite warriors and the teams they join.
“It’s quite an honor to enter this partnership,” said Bonnell. “Who we serve matters to me and to our team, and we would be hard pressed to identify a more deserving group.”
