Hi, I’m Ben Bonnell, the Founder and Head of Search at Morgan Benjamin Search Group. My journey as an entrepreneur and recruiter began very early in my career when I saw a young dad walking his son to school. I wondered what he did for a living that allowed him to do that.

At the time I was working long hours in an office and knew that if something didn’t change, I’d never be the husband or father that my family deserved.I started in 2011 filling skilled-trades jobs in North Houston, but over the years we’ve expanded our reach nationwide, working across industries like Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, and Transportation. And filling jobs from the skilled-trades to the C-Suite.

This job, for me, has created the freedom and flexibility for my family to thrive, and that’s why I’m so passionate about connecting great companies with great people. Because when those connections are made, there is a ripple effect that impacts not just the bottom line, but families and even communities.We’re a husband-and-wife-owned firm, and that personal investment shows in how we operate. We believe in faith and family first, and that’s the foundation for how we live and how we run our business.

Our family is actively involved in The Woodlands Methodist Church, where Morgan and I serve on the Admin Board, and our faith plays a central role in how we lead and serve others. Just like we instill strong values at home, we bring that same integrity, commitment, and personal investment into every partnership at MBSG.

Beyond work, I’m happiest when I’m staying active with my family—whether we’re outside together, training jiu-jitsu, or just making memories. The work we do at MBSG is something I’m passionate about, but what truly matters is the people we do it for.
