It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost a year since I began my journey as an Executive Recruiter with MBSG. So, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself!
I’m Missy, and I’ve called Sarasota, Florida home for the past 16 years, where I live with my husband, two kids, and a rescue dog who’s absolutely obsessed with golf cart rides.
In my role as an Executive Recruiter, I focus on helping companies find top-tier leadership talent from an incredibly special group of individuals—former Navy SEALs who are transitioning into civilian careers. It’s truly one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
My passion for veteran hiring runs deep. My husband served a tour of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom as convoy security in the Army. Watching him take the skills he honed during his service and transition them into a meaningful career has been a front-row seat to the power of second chances. Now, I’m privileged to help other veterans make that same successful transition, and it’s honestly the best job I can think of.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me either gardening, crocheting, or cheering on my favorite football & baseball teams. I’m also a self-proclaimed sourdough junkie—I’ve been baking and maintaining my own starter since 2019. Nothing better than a house that smells like fresh baked bread!
