Our Team

For those who are new or need a re-introduction, I’m Morgan Bonnell—or the “M” in MBSG! I grew up in a small town in Indiana, and in 2009, I took a leap of faith by accepting a teaching job in Houston, TX—(a city I’d never been to) but saw as the perfect chance for an adventure. Little did I know, that leap would lead me to Ben.

We were just two young kids figuring out life, navigating careers that weren’t quite our “forever paths” yet. Fast forward to starting a family and building a life together, and we found ourselves creating something we never imagined back then: Morgan Benjamin Search Group. If you’d told me in 2012 that we’d one day own a business together, I would have laughed. But here we are—working side by side (voluntarily!) and loving it.

Before officially joining Ben at MBSG, I spent 13 years as an elementary school language arts teacher. Now, I get to use those same skills I taught my 4th graders about crafting stories to tell the bigger stories that define MBSG. From sharing our journey to highlighting the moments where we help our clients win—whether that’s finding the candidate who propels their company forward or celebrating a life-changing opportunity for someone else—it’s a privilege to shine a light on the impact we make together.

I’m also the proud mom of two incredible boys. When I’m not working, you’ll find me soaking up sunny days with my family, playing cul-de-sac kickball games, cheering on our boys at flag football or baseball games, or enjoying peaceful Sunday mornings at church. Life is loud, chaotic, and always full of energy—but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that a great job can change lives—not just for the individual but for their entire family. Ben and I are living proof of that.
